To guide participants step-by-step in transforming a creative idea into a structured, market-ready fashion collection, including branding, planning, and production strategy.

DAY 1 — CREATIVE FOUNDATION & BRAND DIRECTION

  1. Introduction to Fashion Collections
  • What is a collection (and why it matters)
  • Types of collections (capsule, seasonal, commercial)
  • Understanding your target customer
  1. Brand Identity & Positioning
  • Defining your brand DNA
  • Aesthetic direction (minimal, edgy, luxury, streetwear…)
  • Market positioning (premium vs mass market)
  • Competitor awareness
  1. Mood Board Creation (Practical)
  • Inspiration sources (fashion, art, culture, lifestyle)
  • Color direction & emotional storytelling
  • Building a professional mood board

Exercise:

Participants create their own mood board (guided)

  1. Color Theory & Fabric Direction
  • Color combinations & psychological impact
  • Fabric selection based on concept
  • Mixing textures and materials

DAY 2 — COLLECTION DEVELOPMENT & BUSINESS SIDE

  • Building a mini collection (5–10 looks)
  • Categories (tops, dresses, outerwear…)
  • Outfit coordination
