DAY 1 BRAND FOUNDATION & CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT

Module 1: Understanding the Fashion Industry (1 hour)

  • Fashion system overview (Luxury / RTW / Fast Fashion / Niche)
  • How brands position themselves
  • Identifying market gaps & opportunities
  • Case studies of successful brands

Module 2: Brand Identity & Positioning (1.5 hours)

  • Defining your brand DNA
  • Target audience (who are you designing for?)
  • Brand values, tone of voice, visual identity
  • Naming your brand & storytelling

Practical Exercise:
→ Create your Brand Identity Board

Module 3: Market Research & Competitor Analysis (1 hour)

  • How to analyze competitors
  • Pricing positioning (Egypt vs international)
  • Identifying trends vs timeless concepts

Practical Exercise:
→ SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats)

Module 4: Mood Boards & Creative Direction (1.5 hours)

  • How to build a professional mood board
  • Color palettes & fabric direction
  • Translating inspiration into a coherent concept

Module 5: Collection Planning (2 hours)

  • How many pieces in a collection? (MOQ awareness)
  • Product mix (tops, dresses, statement pieces, basics)
  • Designing for your target market
  • Balancing creativity vs commerciality

DAY 2 BUSINESS, PRODUCTION & LAUNCH

Module 6: Product Development (1.5 hours)

  • From sketch to real garment
  • Fabrics sourcing (local vs international)
  • Sampling process (timeline: 1–3 weeks)
  • Fittings & corrections

Module 7: Production & Manufacturing (1.5 hours)

  • How to choose manufacturers
  • MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) explained
  • Cost control & quality standards
  • Common mistakes in production

Module 8: Pricing Strategy (1 hour)

  • How to price your products (premium positioning)
  • Cost calculation:
    • Fabric
    • Labor
    • Overheads
    • Profit margin
  • Egypt market vs international pricing

Practical Exercise:

Module 9: Branding, Marketing & Sales (1.5 hours)

  • Building your presence (Instagram, website, showroom)
